Priscilla (Peachy) Lopez-Ewaldz has combined her passion for fashion design with her love for the game of tennis by creating a line of athletic apparel under the brand Peachy Tan, a name stemming from her own nickname. An avid recreational tennis player, Priscilla began designing her own sportswear in 2001 when she found available tennis apparel too traditional and, in many cases, uncomfortable and unflattering. Her refreshing approach to style, fabrication and attention to detail caught the attention of fellow players on the courts at Chicago North Shore tennis clubs.
By popular demand, Priscilla introduced her first collection in 2003 at select Chicago North Shore tennis clubs. Today, her line is available in tennis shops and country clubs throughout the United States.
Peachy Tan offers women's lifestyle tennis, swim and active wear. Styles are contemporary and comfortable for all body types with size fit ranging from Petite to XXL.
Peachy styles are distinct with the use of layers, pleats, ruffles and slits as well as trim details like buckles and mesh inserts. Collections coordinate from one season to the next with classic pieces such as knife-pleated skirts in a soft lycra fabric paired with sporty halter tops in jacquards are available year-round. New prints are introduced each season, adding fun and color to the basic styles. |
Last summer, Peachy introduced a tennis and swim kit called "In the Bag" a must have courtside and poolside for the club, resort or any active day. The kit contains a tennis skirt, a dress, a tankini and a pair of swim shorts. The skirt and dress are also swim cover-ups and the swim shorts double as tennis shorts.
Tennis dresses are Priscilla's personal favorite. Pair them with tennis shoes by day or heels and accessories at night and you are ready for a fun summer evening!
Peachy Tan is definitely courtside couture - feminine yet designed for the athlete in every woman. |
